Birth Preparation Circle - Online
This 5 week course for pregnant women combines a range of techniques which offer support in preparation for birth. Each week we combine a pregnancy yoga session (including breath work, postures, meditation and visualisation) with hypnobirthing wisdom/practices and deep relaxation.

About the Event
This course values the power of women coming together to share their experience, alongside recognising the important role of their birth companion (partner/friend/parent). Exercises and information will be available to pass to birth partners.
We hope that you complete this course feeling empowered and positive about your birth, with a toolkit of practices and approaches to support you alongside whatever birth preferences you choose and whatever turn your birthing takes.

Week 1 The benefits of Pregnancy Yoga and Hynobirthin. The Science – How to work with your uterine muscles & hormones.
Week 2 The stages of birth and your body’s wisdom. Natural means to initiate labour & techniques to avoid induction.
Week 3 The power of the mind and working with your subconscious. Hypnosis and Affirmations.
Week 4 Your birth companion (partner/parent/friend) - suggestions of ways to support you. You will be offered exercises to do together at home.
Week 5 Toolkit and options for birth. Transitioning into the postnatal phase - Breastfeeding and Self Care.
5 x Tuesdays 6pm - 8.30pm
