About the Event

This women's yoga circle is about coming together with other women to share experience and move through a yoga practice that honours our shifting cycle and rhythms. With this subtle approach we can tailor our yoga practice and and lives more sensitively to how we are feeling week in week out.

You'll be given the opportunity to share where you are in your monthly cycle and how you are, then we'll move through a yoga practice which moves away from linear movements (sometimes derived from a traditionally more masculine practice) to a nourishing rounded yoga practice designed to honour the heart womb connection.

You'll be encouraged to rest where you feel to, as the emphasis is on deep levels of self care and listening to what we need on any given day.

The yoga practice will include elements of slow flow vinyasa yoga, yin yoga, meditation, use of affirmations and close with guided relaxation or yoga nidra (deep relaxation) which transports to the blissful space between waking and sleeping.

This workshop is in association with The Power of Women Festival (POW)
